His extensive experience involves advocating for clients in cases involving construction law, construction lien claims, contractual disputes and insurance coverage disagreements. He skillfully navigates traditional litigation steps such as Trials and Court applications while also employing emerging processes such as summary trials and Arbitrations, along with various alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including negotiation, Mediation and Judicial Dispute Resolution.

Jonathan has a proven track record of successful representation in numerous high-stakes Trials and Arbitrations. His portfolio of accomplishments includes representing confidential clients in multi-million dollar negligence claims, construction law disputes, shareholder disputes and infrastructure arbitrations. Jonathan’s impressive litigation experience includes arguing cases before the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Appeal the Federal Court of Canada and the Surface Rights Board. He has also submitted numerous successful Leave to Appeal Applications to the Supreme Court of Canada.
